Complex Wound Management
Rhema Community Care offers specialised complex wound management for individuals living with chronic and non-healing wounds. Our team of experienced and highly trained nurses provide comprehensive care, including:
- Assessment and monitoring of wounds, including size, depth, location, and stage of healing
- Development and implementation of individualized wound care plans based on evidence-based guidelines
- Use of advanced wound care products such as negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), bio-engineered tissue substitutes and topical growth factor therapy
- Assistance with administering medication and treatments, including wound dressings and topical agents
- Education and support for patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques and maintenance
- Regular follow-up and monitoring to adjust treatment plans as needed and to ensure optimal outcomes

We also work closely with other healthcare providers such as wound care specialists and surgeons to provide continuity of care for our patients.
